Feline:

Mattie
lived in a family home where she
had been all one and half of her
years. She was a lovely Manx,
well behaved and enjoyed her
family. A new baby was born and
the pediatrician told her family
that the baby was allergic to
cats. Naturally they took
Mattie
in to the veterinary clinic to
be euthanized. This lovely cat,
guilty of nothing but a baby’s
allergies, was to be killed! The
vet’s office told the lady to
call us immediately.
We rescued
Mattie
even though we were not
accepting new
cats at the time. She spent the
first two days perched high in
her bathroom cage, but now comes
down for pets and purrs. It will
take her awhile to recover from
the loss of her home, but
eventually she will love again.
For a visit with this lovely
girl, call us at 360 584 0594 or
360 426 2455.
For more information about our
residents call us at 360 584

been outdoors so would adjust
well to apartment or small house
life.
Open
seven nights a week from 6 pm
until 8 pm and in addition from
1 pm until 4 pm on both Friday
and Saturdays.
For more
information please call 426-2455

Spay/Neuter legislation is being
considered for the 2010 legislative
session that will help fund tens of
thousands of additional spay/neuter
surgeries for cats and dogs throughout
Washington. Kitten Rescue of Mason
County supports this legislation to help
prevent animal homelessness and save
animals' lives. Your help is essential
to getting a bill passed next session.

Please remember that we also have
some wonderful loving teens and
young adult cats that are waiting
anxiously for adoption. They will
make great cats for families that do
not have the time needed to attend
to and watch closely over active and
curious baby kittens.
