The May 10th Garage Sale is on with a twist!

The property next door has sold and is no longer available for parking for our amazing sales. But, we are moving forward with clearing some adjacent land for a parking lot thanks to the kindness of the Webber family. Bids are being submitted and our director is working tirelessly to find the right contractor(s) to help us achieve our goal without breaking the bank!

Now the twist... We do not believe that the parking lot will be finished in time for the May sale so our director, Miss Dee, has sought help from Mason Transit and boy are they stepping up to help us. On May 10th, from 8am to 5pm, Mason Transit is providing a bus to exclusively run between the Shelton-Matlock park-n-ride and the shelter's entryway every 15-20 minutes. If you purchase more items than you can manage on the bus, you will be able to hop on the bus, pick up your vehicle at the park-n-ride and return for your items that will be waiting for you. We know that this will be different and a require additional commute time but we sincerely hope that you will support our mission to care for and find forever homes for the kittens and cats of Mason County. With the rising cost of food, health care and general upkeep of the shelter, the garage sale proceeds are more important than ever!

We are hoping to have the parking lot completed for our July sale but if needed, we can partner with Mason Transit again.

Note: Only vehicles with disability placards will actually be able to park in the rescue's parking lot. The lot is going to be busy with shoppers and people picking up their already purchased items so be aware that this will be new for all of us and hopefully a one and done.

*From Shelton, travel on Railroad Ave out of town as if you are going to merge onto Highway 101 or head towards Matlock. Pass under 101 and take the first right onto Hulbert Rd. The park and ride is in 200 ft on your left.

*From Highway 101, take the City Center/Matlock exit (2nd Shelton Exit) as if you were going to Matlock. Immediately take the first right, Hulbert Rd, as if you were going to the Ford dealership. The park-n-ride will be in 200 feet on your left.
